Cap Gemini - Michael Bunce

I joined Cap Gemini after the council I worked for discovered the joys of outsourcing although technically the company I transferred to was an acquisition of Cap Gemini's called Hoskyns; they kept the name because of the good and well-known reputation it had in the IT community, but eventually they rebranded it as Cap Gemini. Of course later on they took a bite out of Ernst & Young and rebranded once more as Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, but either they swallowed them whole or spat them out because now they're back to being Cap Gemini once more - must have cost a small fortune!

Working for a professional facilities management company like CG was a complete change of pace after 19 years in local government. The 'Morning Prayers' staff meetings, the mandatory attendance annual 'Kick-Off' meetings around the country, and the performance reviews were hard to get used to, but I owe a debt of thanks to my mentor Duncan Steele who taught me so much - thank you  sensei!
